The first ideas for Maxwell P.D.A. came from a crime film from the 1940s which Costigan was very fond of. With the help of fellow writer Alair Diremigio and Cinematographer Ian James Comstock, they were able to make this dream into a reality in 2022.

This film had an interesting history. Casey was trying to find different ways to continue the delco slasher universe but for about a year couldn't come up with anything until he thought about doing a prequel that could show how vincent pryer went crazy and claimed his first couple of victims while introducing some important police characters.

Crazy Water (A Creature from the Black Lagoon Movie)

Costigan/Diremigio Picture- Premiered October  31, 2022

Crazy Water picks up a few months after Here Comes The Night and follows Mitchell (The Golden Girls Guy) as him, his cousin, and Grandpa go to a stream for a good time but because of their littering it brings upon a creature to draw some blood.

This Horror/Comedy Reunites Casey and Alair once again to make a modern retelling of The Creature From The Black Lagoon. It is also Casey's brother Colin joins the cast to play young Zeke, who is the voice of reason in this film. This film has a deep connection to the effects of pollution on the world and this definitely was a big part of the film.

Backstory

Believe it or not this film was actually first thought as a joke between Diremegio and Costigan but after thinking about the idea, they realized that it could be possible to make it on a microscale budget, after some delays we began to film it. The casting for this one was difficult because we could not use most of the actors we had because they were in Here Comes The Night and some of them kind of died so we went with Colin Costigan, Alair Diremigio returning for his role as The Golden Girls Guy, and Nick Brady as The Monster even though he was in  Here Comes The Night, we put him in make up. The make up for this film was possible by Nicole (Nerissa) Masciantonio whom has worked on a projects in the past with Costigan Pictures.

Comstock/Costigan Picture- Premiered October 31, 2020

Here Comes The Night follows for drunks adults going around town on an night long drinking binge while Tyler turns into a werewolf.

This film is Ian James Comstock's first film he directed on Costigan Pictures and he delivered with a fun horror/comedy with his visuals, storytelling, and editing.

Backstory

The idea of a modern day telling of the Werewolf has been something that we have been interested in since 2019 and during the Covid Lock downs of 2020 it gave Casey Costigan and Ian James Comstock time to think about their next film and this was this werewolf film, they worked on the story together and then came Ian's script and we were ready to begin the shoot of this film.

This film was a challenge due to the restrictions of the pandemic but it made a fun film.

Although Ian himself isn't too fond of the film now it is still our Biggest hit on Costigan Pictures so far.

Harlan's Bad Hand

Costigan/Comstock Picture- Premiered June 16, 2021

In Harlan's Bad Hand, Harlan goes to a drug deal orchestrated by his Cousin Rowdy where meets up with his school bullies and things take a turn for the worst.

This was Ian James Comstock's Third film that he directed for Costigan Pictures after doing Sacco and Here Comes The Night.

Backstory:

This film originally was going to directed by Costigan but after some talking with Comstock, they decided that Comstock would direct it and write the film. It could have been a completely different film if Casey Costigan directed. The film that Ian directed was probably the far better idea and is probably Ian's best film he has done so far.

The Delco Slasher

Costigan/Reichle Picture- Premiered October 2, 2021

In the Delco Slasher, a bunch of teens come for a final high school party but are soon welcomed by the delco slasher who is a killer to see.

This was the first real Non Captain/Dave Pallen Series film that Costigan directed.

Backstory:

The Delco Slasher had a bit of troubling film shoot and production to say the least. The original script was not used past the first two scenes and one of the leads got in a car accident on the way to film in his friend's car. This film was stressful to finish and when it was finished we were actually surprised that it was better than we thought it would be considering everything the film went through being made. That one song by Al's Room was also pretty good in the montage scene, Flower To Fungus.

Modern American Vampires

The second film is called Batz Claw and continues the story from Byrde's Eye with Batz coming after Mark for the drive.

                 Snayke's Tongue

Next in the series is Snayke's Tongue which mostly shows why Mark Byrde quit the agency.

                  Boahr's Head

The fourth chapter in the Mark Byrde Collection is Boahr's Head which is the showdown between Snayke and Bryde while being joined by Jewels and Myce.

Myce's Foot

The fifth Chapter is an epilogue following Myce as she hunts down Snayke after their previous encounter in Boahr's Head.

Love Byrdes

The sixth chapter is a prequel to Bryde's Eye called Love Byrdes which shows Mark's first big mission and how he learns to be the agent he is in the later short films.

Backstory:

This whole spy series was only supposed to be a one off apart of a bunch of random one offs that Costigan was planning on doing post-Captain series but, plans changed after he enjoyed making Byrde's Eye. He then wanted to make more and this year there will be a total of six films in the series.

Fun Fact:

The first film in this series Bryde's Eye was shot around the same time of the troubling production of The Delco Slasher, which if you don't know, The Delco Slasher had a lot of problems while shooting the film however this film had an easy film shoot and so did most of the other films in this collection.
